I loved you more than I could say
I loved you like the night loves day
So far away but moving as one
I never thought your love was done
What good is the night without the day
For without it the breath of warmth goes astray
Just like my heart now so cold, this is my time to be bold
To gather my courage because I know from my wits
This feeling won’t help a bit
So the sun is gone and the Earth is cold
But one day a new sun shall surely mold
