Slipping Away

The blood not only drips from my wrists
But it drips from my heart
Drips through my lungs
And makes it hard to breath

I can feel myself slipping away
Into an everlasting dream
A dream of a better life
A dream of an easier life

I start to shake at the thought
That i may never return
Never again to see your face
Your beautiful eyes
Your gorgeous smile
Your perfect complexion

I try to stop myself from going
But im way past too late
I cant bring myself to move
From my comfortable place

I close my eyes and see you
Standing, stareing at me
Asking me to stay alive
You need me to stay alive

I look at you with sad watery eyes
Telling you how its better this way
I have to go now
Is the last thing you hear

I see you running after me
From the corner of my eye
Running to my side
And grabbing me by the hands

Dont leave me hear alone
I cant face this place w/o you
Dont leave me now
You dont realize how much i need you

I can still hear your words
As im drifting farther away
I want to tell you i love you
But its so hard to say
