It all started with a movie,
And a simple good night kiss.
We'd hang out for hours
That’s something I really miss.
You helped me through so much
You taught me how to grow.
How much you meant to me,
You will never know.
Then something changed,
Something rearranged.
Now we barely talk
Besides a "hey" every now and then.
I thought we'd be together,
I just didn’t know when.
Now you found someone new,
Someone took my place
And now I feel confused,
My heart is in a race.
I don’t know what I'm feeling,
I don’t know why I care
But all I want to do,
Is look at you and stare.
When I look into your eyes
I get lost and mesmerized.
I thought we had something special
Something one of a kind
Every time I'm around you
My heart gets in a bind.
I guess that’s all over now
We went out separate ways,
But, now that you're gone
My life's just one big maze.
