The day I first saw you
I froze in my tracks
My eyes opened wide
I just couldn't relax

I thought to myself
This was wrong
I had another girl
Loved her so long

So there I was
On the school grounds
Thinking in a frenzy
Dismissing the sounds

I dumped my girl
Left her on the street
I didn't feel bad
Sarah made me complete

Days came and went
Weeks passed by
We loved each other so much
We saw eye to eye

Together forever
Seems like a dream
It felt so real
Or so it would seem

As time went on
Our love fell to dust
I was crushed
She had broken my trust

As I lay on the floor
Taking it all in
I felt I could die
By exploding within

I guess I learned
From that one love
To stay together forever
Would take a miracle from above
