How could a man I didn’t know impact me?
How come my mom wont talk about it?
Why is it when they find out
The first words are “im sorry”
All their “im sorrys” or “ its gunna be okay”
Will NEVER bring him back
No matter how hard I pray
No matter how many wishes I make

They say he was such a good man
They say I was his joy in life
They talk and talk and talk
But that doesn’t matter

No matter how much they talk
No matter how many pictures I look at
It will NEVER bring my dad back
