Why must an innocent man die?
It makes me shiver and cry
Every time I think
of the way he died.
Why must the innocent man expire
and the culprit is not in fire?
Why should I hurt with pain and sorrow
while the culprit still has tomorrow?
Why did he have to die so young
and to not have any more fun?
I now pray that he'll be
in Paradise, waiting for me.
Why must an innocent man die?
Only God knows why.
