I wish you could relate and understand
My pain, unhappiness and lost confusion
Will you guide me through this and hold my hand
Look deep into my eyes, I am lost within
From all the tears I've lost, still there’s more to come
I’ve tried to ease the pain and stop the tears
I wish my life was a dream, to not feel, to become numb
So much I have witnessed over the young years
Everything replays in my head its bad enough to kill me
Sometimes I wish it would, it’s the easy way out
To drift, like a floating raft in the middle of the sea
Where no one could hear me, even if I made the loudest shout
There are more smiles to make up for my angered tears
Everyone will realize that there is more happiness through the years
