A sad story here to be told
About a boy who I no longer hold
A tragedy struck, do u feel me pain
Soon I’m going to go out of my mind, insane
I felt it so strong the love I had
Now that he’s gone I’m so very sad
He looked it to my eyes so deep
And told me he loved me, he began to weep
The gun held near towards his head
Held by a man in black “your gonna die” he said
He knelt down in agony to the ground
Soon it will be over, he’s home bound
Just like that my world was gone
He’s been with me so very long
Right there where his life ends
As a tragedy, a new life begins
A beautiful fall day leaves blowing down the road
Im still in shock and on my heart, its quite a load
I feel him within my soul I know he’s still there
I know he’s with me wherever I go, he’s everywhere
I’m glad we loved each other that one night
For now in my arms I hold his child tight
He looks just like his daddy with his dark hair
Don’t worry I tell him how much you love him and care
I live without you everyday
But I know we will meet again, someday
