Distraught

Rejected by my friends
Yelled at by my parents
Confined to my room
But by my own choice

Here I sit
Sprawled on my bed
Staring at the light
Taking in my day

Jealous of the guys
Who flirt with who I want
Guilty when I pass
The girl who I was with

I thought of my life
Contemplated by being here
Is this one awful nightmare?
Too bad; it's real

A tear ran down my cheek
And I buried my head in bed
