As I sit here
Looking at this picture I once loved
That I once knew
As I remind myself about the pain its caused
When that picture fell
Broke to millions of pieces
My face has turned pale
While I think about that picture
I tried to put it back together
But to many pieces were lost
My life has turned upside down
Twisted and turned
But no matter what I still have a frown
That picture was once welded together
But it got hot and melted away
Now as the pieces float forward
My heart is still in one place
I turn paler as I get older
I think it’s a disgrace
While I think as it gets colder
But as the fairy tale is told
Ill remind all of you one last time
All the kings horses
And all the kings men
Couldn’t put Humpty back together again!
