Dear You

Although we are seprate,
We don't have to be apart:
If we would share
One loving heart.

I wish we could be together,
Whether it be good or bad weather,
Our love could carry us over
The most inclement seas,
And it would stand strong against
The greatest tsunamis!

Though our age has not come,
As our parents would say,
I would wait for you
Until another day.

So I leave it to you,
What do you think we should do?
Should we be boy and girl,
And give it a whirl?
Or should we just be friends,
And know how it ends?
