The day fades away
As night comes on.
Tonight is the night
Of the demons flight.

Their flight to find the flesh of earth
To reap their vengence on the innocents.
Who can stand against their charge?
Who will live until the morn?

The day fades away
As the night comes on.
Tonight is the night
of the demons flight.

I stand under the moon,
It's rays on my face.
I hear a call in dist'
A call that chills my bones.
The dying cry of a fellow man,
It echoes over again in my mind.

I run to the scene, to aid as I can,
But all if find
is the consumed remains
of the lonely man who was destroyed.

Beyond the corpse is the killer.
A darkness cloaked creature
Of imense size.
A demon come to feed on flesh.

He see's me shutter,
and makes his move.
As he charges, claws unsheathed.
I dodge to the side,
Narrowly missing
It's outstreched hand.

As I roll, I end beside
The man who was killed.
He has in his hand a giant sword, Inlaced with gold and silver.
I draw it up against my foe,
He roars in protest.

He charges again,
But I hold my ground.
When he saw my defense,
He quickly stopped,
With but feet to spare.

He strikes with claw,
I block with sword.
Then he with tail
Again I with sword.
One last time he does attack,
And then I see my opputune'.
I stab his chest,
Straight through the heart .
He fell down, dead as a nail.
I raised my weopen,
And cried out loud,

"I survived the night of demon's
Flight! Who else can claim this throne?"
Once more I cry,
"I survived the night of demon's
Flight! Who else can claim this throne?"
