It's Three O'clock Somewhere
11-03-03

Staring at the clock impatiently, waiting for
the hands to strike one and three, the thoughts
occur that either the clock has suddenly broken or
time is frozen (as impossible as the choices seem
I wish to believe atleast one), either way it looks
as if I am stuck in here until that unpredictable little
gadget called a bell decides to set us free. My hopes that the
weekend is closer than it actually seems grows
until it explodes in my mind, driving
me insane (as if I was sane in the first place).
The voice of my best friend screaming at me for
asking if it's three o'clock yet circles my
empty head. I can remember his reply and
giggle a million times, but somehow it never
seems to help me get over the fact that
I'm bored to my end's wit. "Tabby, it's
taking forever for that ignorant bell
to ring, is it three o'clock yet?!" Amber screeches from behind
me. "It's three o'clock somewhere" I reply laughing,
secretly hoping
what he said will actually help someone
else more than it did me.
