Deadly Contemplation
10-18-03

As icy tears run down your cheek, you slowly pull away from your
surroundings for awhile. You remember what once was, your love that you miss
so much, you life that was once 'perfect' (or so others called it)
and your family, who are now the only people that love you (although they
dare not claim you in public). No matter how much you wish, you cannot take
back what happened, you cannot rewind what has been done. Heavens no, that
would not be of this world.

Waiting for a miracle, you live what is left of your life, hoping every day
that death will come from its shadowy corner and take you away.

"Come on!" A harsh voice says from behind. As you slowly open
your eyes and nod your head, silver cuffs like bracelets are put on your
wrists and you roughly get pulled away.

Your mind keeps telling you that it was an accident, but you know better. It
was you that pulled the trigger, you had intent to kill and you succeeded.
You remember everything that happened, the screams, the thoughts in your
mind that told you this was wrong, but you didn't listen.

What made you turn into such a horrible person? Was it something in your
past? Was is something that a person who's opinion hardly mattered
said? No, it was your choice. It was your intent, your deadly
contemplation.
