Free me from these chains
Please hide these old tear stains
Someone free me from this shame
Someone make everything the same
I can no longer breath the fresh air
I no longer have any care
Or a need to fight for life
On the counter lays the knife
I pick it up and contemplate
Whether or not I want to live in a world of hate
My decisions made and there's no turning back
I no longer want a heart that's black
I'm going to be free I thought
Freedom from this world was all I sought
I got what I wanted
And now you all are haunted
Trying to understand why I did what I did
