Why do you let your river of life flow?
Why do you take the risk?
Why do you let it go?

My heart went out to you
But I just didn't understand
I wish I knew
But I couldn't comprehend

I seen you do it every day
It got easier in every way
My heart sunk low
When I tried to let it flow

I did it for awhile
Mostly with you
My blood would flow wild
It was time for something new

I realized what was wrong
I knew it all along
I tried to proove to you
