As we lay here in our hushed truth,
quiet and intent in each other.
I feel as if I will never loose you.
Staring into your eyes passionately,
I lose myself!
You touch your lips to mine in way so compassionate and unselfish,
it makes me melt!
I am in awe of you!

Then I awake,
realizing it was all a petty dream
I know in all truths that you are too miraculous to be mine for the duration
of time.

I am so gullible!

All I want is to fall back into my
"petty dream"
